Alias, the debut CD from CrossTalk, derives its title from the ensemble's remarkable versatility—their ability to conjure virtually any sound through electronic manipulation. As the University of Arizona's Electronic Percussion Group, CrossTalk employs an array of drum and percussion controllers to transcend traditional genre boundaries, seamlessly navigating jazz, rock, and experimental territories.
